Integrity, professionalism and ethical practice are at the heart of my work.  So that I can maintain these values, it is important for both you and I that I uphold certain boundaries and standards of practice.

Although I am also a registered healthcare professional and draw upon my knowledge and experience to offer coaching and yoga practices to help support wellbeing,  I am not acting in my capacity as a health care professional in these roles.  I am therefore unable to offer medical advice to individuals , nor diagnose, prescribe or recommend medication within my capacity as a coach, facilitator or yoga practitioner and will direct you to consult with your own doctor if required.

Similarly, my coaching practice does not replace any psychological assessment or treatment that you require.  Although I am a trauma informed and trauma sensitive facilitator and practitioner, it is outside my scope of practice to support you in relation to specifically trauma focused work.  I can signpost you to appropriate professionals with the appropriate expertise in this area if needed.

If you would like to work with me to so that you can use yoga to help with certain medical conditions or symptoms, this will be alongside, not in place of, your usual medical treatment and care.

I am not able to work with you if you (or a close family member) are currently a patient at the practice(s) I work at nor if I have previously treated you (or a close relative) in my capacity as a doctor.

I hope you are able to understand why it is so important to me that I uphold these standards. Thank you in advance.
