YOGA FOR WELLBEING: SLEEP
A short sequence designed to help prepare the body and mind for sleep. This is a 12 minute video that you can do anywhere and you might like to do it in bed in your pyjamas before you go to sleep to release tension and relax the body and mind for sleep. The poses, along with slow belly breathing help to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, calming the mind and body for a good night’s sleep.
You don’t need a yoga mat but a couple of pillows are recommended. If you have a yoga eye bag or a normal sleep mask you can use this for the final pose. You might like to use a blanket or duvet to keep extra cosy.
